All the manuals for the appliances, and great suggestions for nearby restaurants and grocery shopping. “We loved our stay in this village located not too far away from Ribeira Grande and well positioned to visiting the whole island. The house had everything we needed and was clean. The communication was easy with the owner. It was a quiet environment and we loved being awakened by the sounds of the church bells and several roosters! “The Whales Bay hotel is highly recommended. The place was very nice and clean. We enjoyed swimming in the pool and even got into the jacuzzi for a few minutes. The location is nice also as it is out in a quieter area but still only about 25 minutes t Ponta Delgada. The only thing missing was a nice breakfast.”

“Absolutely 5-star gem of an accommodation! We arrived early morning from Newark and were warmly welcomed by the staff, they stored our luggage and did everything they could to get our room readied. Over the next few days we went cliff diving, swimming, trekking, sightseeing and enjoyed a tremendous variety of delicious Portuguese cuisine and were given excellent local tips on weather/tides/whale sightings and more from the extremely informative staff.
