“This review is LONG overdue! Sorry it has taken me so long to get back to it.This rental was by far one of my all time favorites from VRBO!!We booked both this property (Yellow Door Lodge) and its sister property next door (Red Door Lodge) for my son's wedding. We wanted as many of our relatives as possible to stay with us. The Yellow Door Lodge was the "next door" house to the "main" get-together house. But that did not deter family from checking it out! As family arrived in Savannah and then……

“Nice quiet area close to grocery stores and restaurants. House had everything we needed. Enjoyed visiting our soldiers stationed at Ft. Stewart. ”

“Very inviting. Easy in easy. Easy out. Perfect. High end everything. Great beds. Everything you need is in this house. The small touches amazing like small flashlights in several locations. Every light switching was labeled amazing. We are senior travelers inside this house large hallway. No tight corners to get around. Roomy. I wish I could give you 10 stars. One of the nicest places we have stayed.”

“We enjoyed our stay. They provided a dog tie out so I could have her eat outside. We appreciated that they repaired the internet quickly after a storm. Comfortable bed. Nicely outfitted kitchen, but did miss a dishwasher. ”

“To say that this couple went beyond expectations to make sure that we were safe and comfortable- there are no words. Their home was beautiful, updated, and the coolest place we’ve ever stayed, according to my grandchildren(which is amazing since we had just spent a week in a cabin in the Smokey mountains). If you have the chance book it, it’s an hours drive to many places. Thank you for your service, your hospitality was amazing!”

“Simply amazing! Amazing property, amazing hosts, amazing attention to details! Probably one of the most well appointed and well stocked vacation homes I’ve had the pleasure of renting. If you want a relaxing vacation, this is the place! We fished, sunned, swam, grilled, and soaked up the low country life and hope to come back again. Close enough to both Savannah and SSI for day trips. This is a VRBO gem!”

“House was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed relaxing on the dock watching the many birds. Kitchen was supplied with everything we needed.”

“A very nice home with everything you could need. Very comfortable both inside and out. Lots of activities, board games, bikes and kayaks, but we concentrated on fishing from the dock, crabbing, and enjoying the large outdoor covered deck; or the screened in porch when the misquitos started showing up. Very nice kitchen for anyone who likes to cook. Hosts were freindly and helpful.”
