“We very much enjoyed our stay at this house. It was very clean, in a fairly good area of town (downtown Jacksonville) and close to the base where our son is stationed. Only one tv in the house in the den and none in the bedrooms which might be a problem for some, especially if you're used to watching tv in bed. Also, property is listed as pet/dog friendly but host expects you to leave pets outdoors and not in the house. Backyard fence is not secure if you have a larger dog or an "escape artist"……

“My wife and I along with our son-in-law & his parents stayed at this conveniently located home for three nights last week. The hot tub was a fantastic addition. The backyard is private and there is a covered deck with a game room that has ping pong & corn hole boards. The house is well stocked with kitchen equipment. The most amazing thing was that when some friends came over we found a closet with quality toys for the kids to play with.”

“Our experience at Carolyn's lighthouse was great. The owner is easy to communicate with, and quick to respond. We found the property easily. It's a nice secluded property away from tourists and crowds. The only other people we saw were the owners, whose home shares the property. The house is updated nicely inside, and everything we used (AC, stove, TVs, washer/dryer, etc.) all worked as expected. Our daughter loved to play in the small pool, and we checked out the tidal creek at the end of the……

“House was perfect! Right around the corner from our daughter. Home was clean and was a pictured. Loved the fenced back yard for our dog. And the large covered patio was wonderful. The small touches of Christmas were perfect and made it feel homey. ”

“The house was located perfect for visiting our Marine. He was able to go back and forth. We loved the fenced in yard for our dogs. (By the way the screen on the sliding door was scratched up before we came). We loved the River and the military noises nearby. The ocean was super close as well as shopping. Please add a toaster to your home. We also played your games-that was fun. ”
