Great Property; One Caution
Overall a very good property. Clean, neat, well provisioned. One caution: front door of apartment does not have a fixed lock. This unit is on the 2nd floor with a unit below. The front door of the apartment only has a safety chain. When you leave the apartment, and any valuables you don’t wish to carry with you, you can only ‘lock’ the front door with the chain and exit through back open porch steps. (This may be difficult with small children or elders in bad weather.) Otherwise the apartment remains unlocked while you are out. Owners explained that no one could access our unit but the apartment below us was occupied with what also appeared to be a guest rental (the door of the unit below had a realtor’s lock box key entry) If you don’t exit from the rear, anyone in the apartment below can enter this unit at will. Renters should consider their sense of safety before occupying this unit. If this unit had a door lock, I would have rated 5 across all categories.
