I was extremely disappointed with my recent stay at the Richmond Marriott. I arrived at the hotel excited for my stay, only to be told my room was not ready. Despite checking in at the designated time, I ended up waiting 2.5 hours for my room, and it wasn’t ready until 6:30 PM.
This was incredibly frustrating, especially after a long day of travel. There was no clear communication about why the delay occurred, and no effort was made to provide adequate compensation or a sincere apology for the inconvenience. Waiting this long for a room is completely unacceptable for a hotel that markets itself as a premium establishment.
I expected much better service and organization from the Richmond Marriott. Unfortunately, this experience has left me hesitant to stay here again or recommend this hotel to others.
