The main cabin is very open concept, this means loud if you have a lot of kids with you ;-) The guest cabin is key for that, my parents sort of called dibs on that space. “Very unique and beautiful house! We caught fish from the dock. Had campfire every night. Property manager was very responsive to our needs. The steps down to the lake were quite a few but well worth it. Could use some solar lights on steps to guide the way after dark. I highly recommend staying here.”

It was the perfect location for a small family gathering and for me to make lasting memories with her mom in her hometown with family. “We stayed at Feathered Acres relatively last minute (thanks Trisha!!) after making some travel plan changes and we had such a wonderful time. Travelled with mom and my two toddlers and we all had a blast. We stayed in the smaller studio unit the first night and the larger two bedroom unit the second night and both were so cute, thoughtful and comfortable! “My friend with her girls and mother stayed with me here and we used it for our home base for a week long stay for the Bluegrass Jam Camp and festival in Richmond. It worked so well for us! Because it's over a bar/restaurant the kids could be as loud and jump around as much as they wanted! The unit is well stocked, and when we ran out of towels and TP Pat the property manager washed them all and brought them back quickly. He had the door unlocked and AC on when I arrived, and Gloria helped me……
