“The Old Brewery is im the beautiful medieval market town of Richmond. There are numerous walks in the area, several delightful pubs amd restaurants, and it is a great base for exploring North Yorkshire. The property itself, though, needs some work. The kitchen and dining room are beautiful. The living rooms are extremely comfortable (with the exception of one chair). The bedrooms and bathrooms each have their quirks and drawbacks. “Tucked away behind a pub on the village green ( we didnt hear any pub related noises while we were there). Fantastic little stable conversion, just big enough for 2 people and a dog. Everything we needed in the kitchen was there. The bedroom had no wardrobes, but there was plenty of room for 2 full size suitcases on the floor next to the bed. There is yard to the front and rear of the property with chairs- both catch the sun at some point in the day. Less than a 1 minute walk into the……

“Incredible location for walking and enjoying swaledale. House is comfortable and well provisioned, fantastic host. Whole place could do with a deep clean though and the mattress is knackered 😂 We had a great time”
