“Great staff and hotel! Very clean and comfortable. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was the lack of choices provided for breakfast. I understand that an economy hotel can’t provide everything, but all of the “hot food” items provided had to be cooked in a microwave. The only non frozen hot item was the waffle machine. I will definitely stay here next year when are back in the area, but I will be better prepared for breakfast. ”

“I stayed the Saturday night after the hurricane and although no power or water it was a safe bed for the night. Massive thanks to the management team, a lovely couple who feed us and looked after the handful of people onsite in this very difficult time. As an Aussie this showed true USA spirit. “We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Page house. The property was lovely, decorated tastefully and was clean. It is an older property and because of that there are stairs to climb that are not quite standard and it is difficult to keep the historical features intact and make everything easily navigated. Having said that, we had no trouble and the staff offered to help us. Ginger, in particular was fabulous! We ordered a special dinner the night of our arrival and it was delicious as was……

“We really enjoyed our short time here, only 2 nights. Cabin was very clean and comfortable, It accommodated the two of us very nicely.. The setting was very nice and scenic. We got a big kick out of the chickens and roosters! Owners provided us with fresh eggs and were on site to answer any questions or to bring anything we might need. Cabin was well stocked. Everything was as advertised and we recommend it highly.”
