“Lovely surroundings excellent staff good breakfast but price was more on the day than when I booked it ”

“On arrival I was told that there had been problem with my credit card when I booked so I will have to pay cash!!! This was news to me???!!! The paper work that was presented to me by the manager showed a credit card number on that was not mine! Luckily I have my banking app and hotels.com app on my phone, I showed him my credit card statement showing that the payment went through to hotels.com on 10th November and I showed him my booking on the hotels.com app showing that I had paid in full.
