“It was a bit tricky to find since it is hidden behind a hotel. Google maps took us to the right parking lot (Waterfront Inn) - just go all the way to the back. If you like the natural wood look, you will love this cabin. Just about perfect but missing some little details like wall hooks in bathroom/bedroom, a broom for sand on the porch, etc. Easy walk to Arnold ferry and downtown shops. “The location was wonderful and the property was perfect for our dogs. ”

“Beach front cabin could not be beat for location and the cabin was clean and a great home base for all things Mackinaw city within walking distance, including the ferry to Mackinac Island. Beach is rocky in places, so be sure to bring some good water shoes! Access to the amenities of the nearby hotels was also a nice bonus, although some of the hotel facilities are a bit dated and have some deferred maintenance. “Modern, clean, and accessible to all sorts of northern Michigan adventures. Unexpected pros- beautiful private dock on the lake, very nice hot tub and outdoor shower, full amenities. Unexpected cons - space is private but very close to adjacent properties, highway noise isn't loud but audible, boggy area so it means bugs abound. ”

“Cabin in the woods! Seclusion, peace. Simple, uncluttered. The space was relaxing , practical and functional to use with ease, important if youre cooking all your meals. Good spot for our dogs. The house/yard on one side was close enough to see the yard through the trees but otherwise, very secluded. Great location to explore the NW corner of lower Michigan. Great trail into the woods in back. One of us gets ill from perfumes so we had to put the scented trash bags outside and sub our own……

“Nice place with a view of the lake. Plenty of parking for truck and boat trailer. The water was very low this year which made it difficult to maneuver the boat under the bridge to get out to the lake. Other than that nice place. Easy to contact the owner with any questions.”

“Perfect location, on the water dock space for a boat and the cabin was quaint small log cabin.Everything we needed except food and beverages was provided along with K-Cup for the coffee maker. Excellent restaurant across the street within walking distance. WiFi provided, streaming smart TV, comfy bed, linens and towels. We will likely return another year!”
