“It was quiet and secluded. The gardens were amazing. Our accommodations were perfect for us. We did see some birds including a peacock and a toucan but were probably more interested in the plants than the birds. The pool was great. There are a great selection of restaurants and a well stocked grocery store in El Valle as well as lots of things to do even in rainy weather.”

“The view is priceless! The place while not huge, fit our family of 5. The pool is really special, especially on hot days. This very unique place includes stars you'd never see in a city, access to near-private waterfalls, and beautiful nature paths. However, we made the mistake of not renting (you have to have a private car to enter the gated community) a 4-wheel drive vehicle. This place NEEDS one even to just get up the driveway. “Una cabaña espectacular, con comodidad y vistas de ensueño. La propiedad es tan encantadora que no te dan ganas de irte por la paz que se respira y lo acogedora que es. Sin duda lo recomiendo y volvere muy pronto. Algo a tomar en cuenta es que para llegar a la cabaña debe ser en un auto 4x4 por un tramo del camino que no esta asfaltado ( nada tampoco muy grave y vale a pena por el lugar) ya que un auto pequeño tendria mucha mas dificultad. “I stayed for 2 nights with my mother at Dennis's wonderful Cabanas. It is a lovely property and has a wonderful vintage 50's era style and charm to the property. There was a sweet dog named Mimosa who was a greeter and become a fast friend during our stay there. The rooms are larger than we thought. It was a comfortable stay in the Cabanas and it has great hot showers. There were plenty of places to sit outside on the porch and also a hammock to relax in. “If your looking to get away and enjoy nature this is the place to go. The house has the the amenities you need and more. The owner was great at sending detailed videos of exactly how to get to the property and walking trails near by. He was also Great at responding to any questions we had within minutes. The property and the area felt very safe as well. We highly recommend staying here and would love to return.”

“Beautiful home with plentiful space and privacy. The location faces north west overlooking the valley. The community is gated with a security entrance. If you come up the road from El Valle there is another security gate that closes at 6pm, so be mindful of time or plan on an additional hour from that route. The only minor issue is the kitchen area. The knives are blunt dull and there is no seasoning or any stocked items to assist with making food. That's not why we're here of course, but……
