“Overall an enjoyable stay. Our group enjoyed the large kitchen, lounging by the fireplace, and working puzzles on the dining room table. Plenty of space for our group of 8 adults. Older, charming, traditional adobe with low ceilings (several head bumps for our 6'-2" folks). Some furnishings could use a bit of freshening up. As others have noted some sort of critters are periodically active above the ceilings. Baseboard heating lacks room by room control, so sleeping temperatures in bedrooms vary……

“Brenda is a great host, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The place is absolutely silent, which is good for the soul. We walked in the fresh snow to the edge of the gorge and it was beautiful. My only disappointment was that the fireplace in the suite is off limits due to some totally legitimate technical issues. Knowing that ahead of time wouldn't have made a difference except that I wouldn't have got my hopes up for a fire next to the bed. Arriving close to sunset while it was snowing meant……

“This very nice and comfortable casita is only a few blocks from the historic plaza. We were able to walk to most places around the center of town. The bed was comfortable and had a mattress warmer which was nice since we were here in February. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much.”

And I was too everywhere we looked it was most beautifully appointed and creative taosena style of an artist I would even love to meet! Had the atmosphere and feel of the Taos home and artists home. The location, just outside of Taos, is incredibly convenient, quiet, and spectacular (even by Taos standards). Be prepared to take many photos every day of the scenery! We had an absolutely wonderful family vacation, with skiing, hiking, museums, and restaurants just a short drive away. A truly exceptional home and stay!”

“This is an old rustic home that speaks to a bygone era. A good location in town and in a nice neighborhood. Not a bad walk to a classic small town shopping area with a variety of shops ranging from mountain gear to local artists. If one is staying for more than a few days you will run out of clean dishes and silverware fairly quickly as the supply is limited. The owner/manager was quick to respond to messages, which was nice. They were very helpful at recommendations for local activities. This……
