“We checked in Friday afternoon went out Saturday morning got back Saturday night to find out there was no water the pump went in the well I called the owner Sunday morning and told him about it he apologized many times he also refunded half my money back within a few minutes the care taker had a couple of big jugs of water for me so I was able to stay until Monday morning it’s a nice place and if i had to rate the owner I would give him a 10 out of 10”

“A very nice property. Four couples stayed there a night while on a motorcycle tour of Nova Scotia. One of the bedrooms didn’t have access to a bathroom so it was more of a 3br house rather than 4br. Spacious with many amenities but there were numerous sticky notes around informing us of things that didn’t work or shouldn’t be used. The access road was gravel and not motorcycle friendly.”

“The home was very clean and has beautiful views from every window. Especially the large front windows overlooking the lake. The deck is large and has plenty of room to enjoy meals and coffee in the morning with panoramic lake views and passing sail boats. And at night the whole family enjoyed looking at the stars including shooting stars.”

“Absolutely perfect. The host is amazing, Alex checked in on us a few times and respected our privacy. The hosts have thought of absolutely everything, nothing missing. The property is beautiful. Just pack your suitcase, groceries and alcohol and you are all set. Thanks again for sharing this beautiful spot with us”

“Nice log cottage sitting on Diana Mountain with a nice view of Bras d’Or Lake. The night skys are fantastic. The cottage is secluded. It is about a 35 minute drive to the nearest store of any kind so if you want to get away from everything it is perfect. Stock up before you go. The cottage has high speed internet and good cell phone reception to keep you in touch with the outside world. If you are planning on taking in a lot of the sights of Cape Breton Island then plan on a lot of driving.”
