“Booked a one evening stay for myself and my sweetheart. Home is beautiful. The home apeared to have been used and not totaly cleaned. the second bedroom bed had been slept in, the towels in the second bathroom had been used and not cleaned. There were candy wrappers on the night stand in the master.The home has a wonderful view and is very nice. It should be clean for the visiters arrival.”

“We had a great stay and loved being able to walk to everything we needed. There was lots of room in the house to spread out. The only thing we would have loved was a place to hang our wet coats near the entrance.”

“Well labeled kitchen and nice property. I would stay here again in the summer time. It was freezing when we walked in and took almost until the time we were checking out to actually warm up where your feet didn't freeze when touching the floor. Other than poor heating, this place was a win and perfect if you plan to do things in DT Port Angeles.”

“The property is great. Rooms were clean and comfortable, plenty of towels. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped. We had a great time!! ”

“The photos just don't do this house justice. As soon as you walk in, you feel relaxed and in awe over the incredible view. The house is set out on the cliff away from Neighboor's. And is completely private. Every detail in this house has been taken care of. I was so bummed I forgot my Binoculars, until I realized the house came with a high end pair. I would recommend this house to anyone looking for a quiet setting with an amazing view. My wife and I will be returning as soon as possible. ”

“I kind of hate to write such a positive review because I don't want this to be booked solid when we visit again! But, in all honesty, the only thing that could make this place better is a hot tub. It was super clean, had all the amenities we needed, the setting is beautiful, and even though the neighbor's are close in proximity, it was very quiet. The indoor furniture was really comfortable as well. We would love to stay here for our next visit to PA. ”

“The house is a very nice place, clean, incredible view, perfect size for a family stay. Quiet neighborhood, very peaceful but convenient to everything in town. Only drawback of the place is that the mattresses are quite soft and should probably be replaced as they dip in. Despite this, I'd highly recommend this home for a short or long term stay.”

“We loved this historic home with huge windows looking out to the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Each evening we brought in food and relaxed in the home. We weren’t missing any amenities and the accommodations were comfortable.”

“Our family of four found the Compass Rose to be a good spot to stay while we spent several days exploring Olympic National Park. We saw deer in the yard each day and our kids really enjoyed the hot tub! This property offered a nice feeling of seclusion, and having a washer/dryer was a big plus for us.”

“Jack is so kind and thoughtful. He kept in constant contact with us as we prepared for our trip to his house, allowed us to arrive at 2 am, and had coffee, bread, and eggs ready for our arrival. During our stay, we enjoyed a very quiet and peaceful area. Jack is a very friendly and attentive host.”
