“Our group of 9 friends ranging from 36- 78 had a wonderful lake get away. We were very impressed with this stay. The owners were extremely helpful. The photos do not give this home justice. It was so cozy, & very spacious. We loved the two full kitchens. Both were sufficiently stocked. The entire home was. The bathrooms had ample room, linens, & toiletries. The boat house was perfect. The beds were all very comfortable. The boat lift was very helpful. The owners response to any of our questions……

“The cabin is immaculately kept. Everything you need for a stay is there including plenty of kitchen utensils, toilet paper, paper towels, fast Wi-Fi, good cell phone reception, satellite tv and many other amenities. The best part is the peace and quite. On a calm day you can walk outside and the only thing you hear is your own breathing and maybe a bird. The host was very accommodating and occasionally asked if we needed anything. Communication with the host was excellent. As a side trip we went……

“This was our first time staying in a tiny home and we LOVED it! It was rustic and modern, super clean and tidy, beautiful wood work throughout, over all great experience. It was the perfect size for 2 people. The wifi is iffy - which is explained in the listing - so this made it a little difficult to watch tv but that wasn't a huge deal to me. I would totally recommend this place to other couples and would consider staying here again!”

“The boathouse, lake, and experience were amazing. The kitchen was nicely stocked with plenty of dishes/pots/pans/utensils, along with blender/coffee grinder/coffee pot/microwave. There were cleaning products, and plenty of bed linens. There were books to read, games to play for kids, along with a kayak, paddle board, and canoe for enjoying the water. The lake is peaceful, and clean. We saw deer, turtles, turkeys, snakes, and tons of birds. The home is decorated like a personal art gallery. It is……

“Shannon was an excellent host! She responded very quickly which wasn't often as anything you would need was in the house. We had our pet with us and we took her just down the road to Greensport Campground for walks. We enjoyed the screened in porch to eat meals or sit and read in the evenings. We would definitely stay here or at one of Shannon's other properties as she is such a host! greathost!host!host!wedefhere.”
