“The hotel is kind of remote from the Main street of Portree; on the other hand, it’s very quiet and peaceful so that the visitors can fully enjoy the beauty of nature in Isle Skye. The room we stay is pretty simple but it’s clean and tidy. Most important of all, we have the great view of lake. Cloe, the front desk staff, shows her hospitality to make our stay even better.”

“Noisy location right near the plaza made worse by a food truck that pulled up at midnight. Room was small but fine except for the noisiness. Breakfast was ok. Hotel itself was beautifully presented. If it werent for the noisy people in the plaza the spot is perfect.”

“Access is a bit difficult and the no noise rule after 10pm was not imposed so it took a while to go to sleep. Nevertheless installations are good and clean and the location is simply perfect to wake up and go in a hiking”

Our room was very comfortable and clean. The food was excellent. We stayed 4 nights and went on many adventures while on skye. We had a wonderful time!!”

“We had the MacKinnon room. It was a beautiful room with a great view. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom floors were heated. The window only opens a crack and bugs and flies get in because they dont have any screens. Great water pressure. There is a steam room and sauna that you can use. There was only one guy working the desk and the bar.ans was able to handle my request for a fan quickly. The breakfast that was included was delicious. They have really good food and service in there. I……

“Staff and service was great, breakfast very good. Hotel,room very clean. Bed, linens comfortable, shower great water pressure and lots of hot water. But property is shabby,needs upkeep,improvements. Harbor area underwhelming. Not worth the price for a very mediocre waterfront area. Next time will stay farther out for better quality. ”
