“This was an excellent space set apart in nature for a very quiet and peaceful weekend. There were spaces inside and out to enjoy a cozy fire, to sit and chat, or have a quiet meal. Thanks to the host for staying in contact and leaving excellent directions for a stay on the property.”

“The view tops the reason to stay at this lakeside location. The host was very gracious and responded quickly to calls. The cabin was very clean inside, however, lacked updated amenities. They say they are in the process of renovating the property but progress is fragmented. Great for a quiet getaway with an exceptional view.”

“I loved this cabin. It is very obvious this lovely cabin is well loved and is someone’s personal getaway. Not another poorly maintained rental property. Prettily and thoughtfully appointed and decorated, comfy and cozy. I can’t say enough good things about it. Oh! And the view of the river is breathtaking! I would stay again, for sure! ”

“Pros: gorgeous cabin with a lake view. Cons: Property had fresh linens and a freshly made bed but there were lots of spider webs through the cabin and porch area. The porch had several places where the screws were not all the way in and were sticking up which made it hurt if you stepped on one. The fire pit outside was also full of trash. Area is hard to navigate at night due to there being zero fluorescent signs to show you were to go. Would stay again but would ask the property start doing a……

“We were looking for a place to reconnect and relax and that is definitely what we found. No one around in the middle of the woods. We rarely picked up our phone, went for a walk in the morning, cooked yummy food, ate outside, enjoyed the hot tub and a fire and glass of wine in the evening. We would definitely stay again. We made home made pizza first time failed but second one was so yummy. We did come in on 501 and gps tells you to turn left when you should turn right and we missed the address……

“Thanksgiving vacation with husband and my grown children and their spouses. Beautiful surprise when you pull up in the car. Stunning view of the Tallapoosa River. Home was comfy and clean and quaint. Well stocked in kitchen and throughout the house. If you enjoy secluded vacation then come stay”
