Their reception was so confusing and also when we said we got confused the staff had attitude and that that was silly. Also the whole check in with that attitude and it was not a pleasant check in experience for us. Their queen ben is a twin Bed this is NOT a queen bed and my husband and I had a very difficult time sleeping the whole night. We woke up exhausted. Overall we will never stay here again.

Beautiful boutique hotel in a historic building, well appointed I loved all the details - rooms large and beautifully decorated with respect to the original architecture of this historic place. Would stay here again! Staff was wonderful!

I didn't understand how the parking worked. I ended up on the 4th floor of the garage (as directed) where there was no elevator...and dragged my suitcase down 4 flights of stairs. Plus when I tried to go in the parking, I was asked for a log code that I didn't have & didn't need. You need to be clearer about how this all works. Maybe it was just me, tired from driving, but it wasn't smooth.

This hotel used to be a bank which I found fascinating. staff was great! Check in super easy ($50 deposit at check in) Super clean and surprisingly quiet for being downtown. Free parking in a near by garage. Highly recommended. Will stay again!

This was such a cool hotel to stay in! From the time we reserved the staff members have been helpful and friendly, messaging us ahead of time to offer dinner reservations and special requests. The hotel is gorgeous, we picked a corner room and had views of the mountains and cool buildings from every window. The bed was very comfortable, beautiful bathroom and we love the little gifts of a canvas bag and night masks. Everyone was friendly and made sure we had a great stay. The location is a 3 minute walk from the market Street area, which has shopping and many dining options. Very walkable, pleasant area if Roanoke.

Very comfortable hotel in the heart of downtown, only one block from the old market with more great restaurants and bars than we could get to in a weekend. Safe parking right across the street for $8. Staff was great and I took advantage of the excellent bartender. Bed were very comfortable.

I thought I had booked a luxury hotel and when my wife and I walked into our room it was so sparse and barren that we actually laughed. The bed was decent enough but the pillows were horrible. But, what was really awful and what anybody who books this hotel should know is that directly across the street is a homeless shelter and separate soup kitchen where we were kept up ALL night by rowdy crowds of drunk and clearly drug addicts yelling and fighting with each other all night long. However, if the were not bad enough 1/2 block away are the train tracks with endless freight trains that seemingly never stopped. Stay anywhere else but this hotel. Be forewarned.

The hotel used to be a bank. They made no effort to hide the fact, in fact, they actually celebrate it! The name of their dining/bar is “the vault“ and the original safe door is there. You and your friends can actually have your drinks inside the safe if you so please.
