The place looks brand new! Also, ate at the restaurant beside the unit and jt was wonderful! 5 stars all the way - no criticisms at all. We will return!!”

“Wunderbares Hotel zum Entspannen mitten im Schwarwald. Sehr ruhige Umgebung. Tolles ausgiebiges Frühstücksbuffet. Abendessen und ab 15 Uhr Kaffee und Kuchen auf Wunsch möglich. Küche sehr lecker. Kleines Schwimmbad und Sauna vorhanden, wie Parkplätze direkt vor dem Hotel ohne Extragebühren. Alles sehr sauber und das komplette Personal sehr nett und aufmerksam. Jederzeit gerne wieder.”

“We booked this at the last minute on the day of and were pleasantly surprised at how nice this place was. Room was super comfortable, everyone was very friendly and bonus was finding out this hotel opened its doors in 1244.. you read that right. Historic hidden gem. Loved it.”

“This was one of our favourite hotel stays ever! Beautiful wood panelled lodge set into the hills of the Black Forest. The room was spotless and the food at dinner and breakfast was faultless too. The service was friendly throughout. The view from the beer garden alone is worth coming for. 10/10 P.s. It’s a personal preference thing but I like to have two pillows. There was only one in the room so do ask at the desk if you prefer two”
