We liked the staff only. But our room there was a noisy compressor right next to our room somewhere running off and on during sleep hours. There was a wasp in our room at the window. I delt with the insect but that's beside the point. Could of went to sleep and it could of landed on one of us and stung while sleeping. Won't be coming back. The floors in hallway and room seemed to always be dirty. Carpet was ugly,dark and old. Where the breakfast was served there was no sink to wash hands and other stuff. I think that's law. A pipe broke so they shut off water and it leaked on WIFI system so no T.V. I just got out of shower in time. I heard someone else wasn't so lucky. The shuttle bus makes that motel the last stop on the return from the clinic even if your the only one on the bus that are staying at that Motel. Over an hour to get back. Ridiculous.

Our room had pieces of the old air conditioner all over the floor, the window unit was louder than the tv and the room smelled musty. The guy behind the desk was on the phone when we arrived at 12:45 and all we wanted was a bed bc we had to me at Mayo at 6a… and he took his time getting the keys and such ready while being on the phone.

Rooms and bathrooms were very clean. Bed was comfortable and bedding was clean and I liked that there was a fridge and coffeemaker in the room. Lobby and bkfst area was clean and bright. We did not use the pool but it appeared clean and bright as well! Breakfast was ok, bread was a bit dry; selection of 2 cereals, oranges and apples, juice, bagels. The outside of the property needs attention Lots. Ut down the dead trees, mow the grass and weeds, pickup the garbage, paint the handicap parking with a fresh coat of oaint, and add a bunch of flower pots Large pots with lots of color. Do the same around the flagpole- plant and landscape. Doing so will improve the perception and show guests they are welcome!

We were not happy with our stay could not use the pool any of the days there. None of the vending machines worked lost money in them no hot water the first night . Over all i should have gotten a better discount i was the to go to the mayo clinic not happy at all

I also greatly appreciate the pricing of the rooms. I come down as I have multiple appointments at the Mayo and I can always count on a good stay with Baymont and having the shuttle service, I don't have to stress about any city driving as I come from a country life with country traffic. Beside, the drive to and from Rochester is enough driving as it is!

First the cons, because there was ALOT. Thin walls, outdated interior, pool was non functional, none of the vending machines worked. Mold in the shower Was told i had to pay cash even though i prepaid through expedia. Have to wait to be mailed a check for my overpayment. Room was clean(besides the mold), Bedding was clean and stain free, good quality guest supplies. A/C worked well. Staff was friendly.

I like the friendly service. The exercise equipment worked. Generally it was clean. We originally had a room where the TV didn't work and the key cards were sometimes a problem. Management switched us to a different room and fixed the key cards which was much better. Breakfast was adequate.

The heater/ac is super loud kicking on and off every few minutes throughout the night and it was hard to sleep or even hear the tv. Everything else is ok, not great not terrible. Employees were very kind and professional, though.
