“Three night stay enroute to FNQ. It was a very comfortable stay. We had a corner heritage room which was spacious with a modern ensuite. Fernando’s restaurant was excellent, the food was beautifully prepared and presented. Staff were all friendly, helpful and efficient. We plan to stay again on our way back south. ”

“Great rest stop after being on road for 8hrs. Not far from fast food. The only problem is you have parking for cars with trailers and someone blocks you from getting out. Plenty of parking for cars so dont park in trailer/bus parking ”

“Our room had been renovated to an excellent standard. All fittings and fixtures were very good. The bed was comfortable and the bed linen was fantastic. The provision of a pod coffee machine was a nice touch and was greatly appreciated. The location was conveniently close to town and far enough away from the main highway to be free of road noise.”

“Lovely hotel. Usually a dog friendly room is the worse room, but we have no choice. Here, it was a beautiful room, renovated and clean and very spacious. Best dog friendly room we have stayed in. Thank you for treating us as responsible pet owners. We dont take rooms that allow pets for granted, we know it’s a privilege but we also pay a premium for these rooms. At last a hotel where the premium was worth it. ”
