Upon arrival after working all day, I checked in at roughly 9:30pm, I had to wait in the lobby for the receptionist to finish a personal phone call before assisting me. Once I got to my room it appeared to be uncleaned. There was old food left in the fridge, stains on the bed etc. I returned to the front desk, where I waited again for the receptionist to finish a personal phone call, to inform her of the room conditions. She responded by handing me a sheet of paper and saying that was all I needed to be issued the refund (through Expedia). Once I got a hold of Expedia regarding my refund due to the rooms condition they contacted the property. During that conversation the manager, Max, claimed we were lying and the room was clean when he checked the next morning and he would not issue the refund. The room was not a significant amount of money to begin with. At 10 pm after working all day why would I waste my time reloading my vehicle to change hotels if this were not true. Very disappointed with how this manager handled the situation and the outcome. I have no idea what may or may not have happened between when I left and the next morning when he arrived, but to accuse me of being dishonest for $100- DISGUSTING!
