Or, walk down the quiet lane to Granite Pier and experience the unsurpassed views of the sun rising over the Atlantic Ocean, and of fishing boats moored nearby. The full moon over Granite Pier is spectacular, and even locals come here to experience its glow. Just steps away at Granite Pier (about 120 yards from the house,) you can launch your kayak or Stand Up Paddle board and explore the coastline. From the parking area, walk up about 10 steps to its private deck with water views and enter the cathedral ceilinged home. In it's history, the cottage was the blacksmith's shed where where the oxen, working the nearby granite quarries, were shod. Vestiges can be seen throughout the house and in the courtyard once the floor of the oxen barn.

The open-plan living room/dining room/kitchen has high ceilings and a skylight. The main living area flows past the kitchen to the Queen bedroom with a/c and full bath.

The cottage affords plenty of peace and privacy, with thick stone walls and all windows and doors opening onto the ocean-view deck or to the courtyard. Steps away is Little Parker Pit, a freshwater quarry for that early morning wake up swim or afternoon refresher.

This house can be rented with the adjacent property, Granite Pier, for larger groups.
