“Upon arrival we were met with the beautiful view and upon entering the cottage, amazed with the decor and atmosphere. Family and I had such a great time with the water front access of the pond. My favorite was the enclosed porch that I could sit and soak in the view with my morning coffee or evening glass of wine. ”

“The location was beautiful, right on the river and beautiful views. Close to trails for ATV. The Rockwood bar and grill fed us two nights and we enjoyed it! The home was cozy and had the essentials. We enjoyed spending time in the downstairs living room. The house could have had a deeper clean (just lots of cob webs and some bugs around lights) I also wish there was less responsibility on the guests. We had to do laundry and take all of our trash. This left us in a rush and waking up early to……

“We returned here this year after a magical stay last summer. We were not disappointed. The location of the house on Lake Hebron makes for a fun time. Kayaking, fishing, birdwatching or just sitting and relaxing occupied our time at the house. The loons calling created a soundtrack for our stay. We were even treated to the unexpected appearance of the Northern lights Nearby, trips to waterfalls, hikes to Mount Kineo filled the week. If you are here, do not miss the B52 crash memorial. “Beautiful property , just the right size for a couple , cozy with a private beach area. If you would have a hard time climbing up ladder to bedroom they have another property next door with a larger and easier accessible bed. The owners live close and were very helpful. we toured with easier access to a larger bed. ”
