“Very nice and friendly Owner. Although it was a bit difficult to find, I really enjoy the cabin. Highly recommend to friends if they come to Tasmania. The nice Lake view was great. It was a pity I could not stay longer to such a peaceful accomodation.”

“I loved the fact that the property had so much kitchen utensils, pots, pans, rice cooker ect. Very different to the 3 useless pans at other accomodations I’ve stayed at in the past. Loved the privacy of the property. The quietness and the views!
Only downside was the second room didn’t have bedding only a blanket on top. But other than that would definitely recommend and book here again. ”

“Mayakitana was a lovely house, easily accommodating the six of us. It was well provisioned and centrally located to everything we wanted to do. My only criticism is the strict check in procedure, even though the house was cleaned well before check in time. Other accommodation gave us the code well before we arrived.”

"Great location, very near to the restaurants, balcony overlooking the beach. Most importantly the manager was the most caring and helpful hotel manager we have encountered in our many years of traveling. Because our own mistake, our itinerary was off by one day, which affected our hotel arrangements. She was very understanding and graciously offered accommodation, and even helped to contact the next hotel in our itinerary for new arrangement. Before getting off duty, she came to our room to ensure we were fine with everything. "
