The bed was comfortable, though not exceptional (King size), and I appreciated the user-friendly air conditioning. The room's layout was appealing, and we discovered a hidden compartment with an iron and ironing board behind the mirror, which was a nice surprise since no one informed us about it.
However, I was disappointed that during a fully booked weekend, there was only one elevator in operation. Given that one of our party members had attempted to change her room months in advance due to the anticipated busy weekend, it seemed odd that they weren't better prepared with more elevators.
On a positive note, breakfast was enjoyable, and I liked that tea and coffee were available throughout the day.
Would I return? Probably not, as my visit was solely for my best friend's and cousin's graduation from the same university, and my family in North Carolina is not located in that area.
Would I recommend this hotel? For a short weekend stay, yes, but anything longer than two nights might be a stretch. While there are dining options nearby, having a car is essential for getting around.
