"It was nothing real fancy, but very quiet, relaxing and room was comfortable. It was at the very end of the island, so very little traffic and uncrowded beach. Unfortunately the bar/restaurant was closed both days we were there but could easily access other places via Uber or Uber Eats."

"I have used Hotel Ballast exclusively when traveling to Wilmington, NC. I have always had the use of a walk in shower. However, this trip was different. "Room was spotless with complete modern kitchen and bath. Nice short walk to the beach! Only issue I had was upstairs neighbors were beyond loud!! Asked for help because got woken up at 4am and 630am with kids running, jumping, and lord knows what else was going on up there. If I was to stay again ..."
