One of the women especially liked walking around the property and viewing birds while doing so. Wish we had booked a longer stay.”

“This was our second visit to the Painted Pony and it was again a delight for everyone from the four-year old, through the tweens and teens, my grown and married children, and for Grandma and Grandpa. Lots of space, lots of fun things to do (swimming, sauna, basketball, pool, ping pong, etc. It is in the middle of nowhere, which we LOVED! Close to the Chiricahua Mts with great easy and hard hikes. The hosts were very responsive also.”

In 20 minutes we could drive to the Cave Creek area for some incredible birding options. I was surprised to see over 25 species from the deck of this house in less than 3 hours of birding over three evenings as we sat on the deck in the shade and the sun behind us making for great photos!
