“We loved our stay at Leigh Family Bach! A spacious place the whole family could relax in. We loved the size of the 2 main bedrooms, great for teens! The extra room outside suited our older son and the bedroom off the kitchen suited hubby and I to a T. Great communication with Nigel. Holiday went off without a hitch! ”

“So nice - in the bush, short walk to the beach, swimming hole nearby. ”

“We enjoyed our stay in Kawau Bay Beach House. It is a tidy, well presented beach house. We especially appreciated being able to take our lovely lab, Charlie. Martin was a great host, friendly and welcoming. Would recommend to others who are looking to stay in the area and don’t mind a walk to the beach.”

“The Ocean View Retreat was exactly that. Perfectly located near beach, restaurants and nature hikes. Wonderfully appointed and stocked. Comfortable beds. Powerful showers. Multiple gathering spots in the home. Great deck with ocean views for morning coffee and evening appetizers. Sarah's communication was prompt, helpful and welcoming. Very pleased. ”

“Suited the family spot on”

“The property is exactly as shown in photos not a lot of room outside for the dog but it has a small fenced area so ok for little dogs. Very close to other houses but is quiet will need the car to get supplies. Surprised only one tv but loads of games for kids. Nice beds but a little hard. For the price it’s very expensive as just stayed at Waiheke and got a heated swimming pool and spa included for almost the same price Matakana is expensive and no beach views or country outlook. We……

“Amazing location! The beach is almost at your doorstep. This made it very easy to hop on our paddle boards many times a day. Shallow waters and the lovely sand bars were perfect for toddlers and kids. The spa was a slight let down. Likely not much use, not easy to access and not clean. Thankfully the ocean was amazing and we had great weather!”
