“I really enjoyed my stay here, it was peaceful and quiet. The bed was super comfortable, I slept well. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking, the goldfish pond is awesome, I also enjoyed using the hot tub. The river is close and there is a grocery store about four miles away in Steelville. I didn't go anywhere, was pleasant enough to just relax at the cabin.”

“Once again another wonderful stay at this property. We love to sit in the rockers on the porch and enjoy the peaceful view. The house is clean, and has absolutely everything you need from kitchen items, towels, extra bedding, and even a first aid kit. It is exactly as described.We spent a day on the beautiful river access at the bottom of the hill. you will need to drive there, but it only take 2 minutes. On sat, Birds nest picked us up for our float and returned us. We barbequed on the……

“We really enjoyed the location of the house so convenient to all shopping and restaurants , the decor was fun and especially loved the ceiling fans . The beds were very comfortable and even though close to the highway was nice and quiet. We hope to be with you again in the future when we bring some of the grand kids to The Fugitive Beach. “So clean it seemed brand new. The knotty pine interior was beautifully decorated with cowboy/longhorn motif. It was just perfect. The cabin are situated so the large number of gorgeous longhorn cattle are just a few yards from the back deck. If you want quiet and a star filled sky, this is the place for you. ”

“The cottage was very nice. The building is old but has been completely renovated and modernized. Bedroom space is a little tight, but the king bed made up for that. They did a great job at fixing the apace up but also maintained and classic feel. Very close to Fort Leonardwood, which was our main reason for being there. Host was very nice nice and easy to communicate with”
