“First off Tom the property owner was wonderful. Very nice guy!! He gave us some tips on where to go in the area. The first day it rained to we travelled about 40 minutes to an antique mall. It had 5 floors and certainly worth the stop. Other days we travelled to Small Falls which was very beautiful. The Cabin is certainly in a pretty spot. There is Lake Porter just a 4-minute walk away. Remee, our four-legged girl went everywhere with us. So my recommendation is travel around but also plan……

“This property is beautiful - beautiful sunsets and changing lake views. We enjoyed walking around the roads. Cottage had everything we needed. Good, close grocery locations. Discovered “A Small Town Bakery” with gluten-free options in nearby Wayne. Plenty of towels, sheets and blankets for our stay, as well as games, movies and children’s toys. Loved the rinnai for those cold mornings. Washer/dryer on premises. Only suggestion - microwave was old and hard to figure out and should probably be……

“The view of the lake is beautiful and the loon was perfect, but we did not have drinkable water and for the price of cleaning and using only the Loon it was overpriced for the stay. ”

“If you are looking for a cottage in a lake this is a great space. The layout of the house provides plenty of room to relax, eat indoors, or sit outside. The lake view will fill you with peace.”

“Had a really great time while in the area for a wedding. Pond location with access to kayaks, small beach front, and fire pit was perfect for our occasion. Love listening to the loons while sipping coffee and watching the sunrise! ”

“Hosts Jane and Peter are lovely people and keep their home and property very well maintained. We especially enjoyed amazing sunsets at the lake house and time in the screened in porch. We loved the Mountain Views at Blue Mountain State Park- Center Hill Trail and an overlook along the road nearby. Would highly recommend staying here. ”
