If you love the Roma style in general, you'll love this hotel. A very convenient location in the core of the city, unbelievably quiet within the hotel territory. Rooms are clean and the staff are gentle and helpful. Norman from the hotel restaurant is a model of the high standard service.

The hotel santa maria, 5 stars is not enough for how great the place is. Right in the heart of the Trastevere area but provides a tranquil and quiet retreat until you are ready to venture out. The courtyard is lovely, and the staff are really helpful. This is a stay we will treasure and will definitely go back to the next time in Rome.

Hotel Santa Maria is an excellent property to stay in Trastevere. All tourist attractions are with 30 minutes walk with lots of dining options from outside the facility. Great place to walk around in and very safe. The staff is very friendly and treats you like family not as a guest. Will definitely go back to Hotel Santa Maria. Don't let the graffiti in the neighborhood fool you...it is in a great location where there are lots of places to dine as soon as you walk out. The rooms are clean and bigger than usual. If you like to walk and stay away from the touristy spots, this is the place to stay. DON'T LOOK ANY FURTHER...BOOK THIS PLACE!!

A little oasis in the middle of bustling Trastevere neighborhood in Rome!! I couldnt believe how quiet it was- the perfect place to rest up after a long flight!! The grounds are inviting & beautiful. This property deserves a much higher rating than what is given online. Although it states 3 star hotel, it should be ranked a lot higher due to the convenient location in the heart of Trastevere, the friendliest staff, and the wonderful atmosphere of the hotel itself. It is very secure as you have to be let in through a gate and let out through the same gate so it makes you feel safe. If you’re looking for all inclusive or fancy, this is not the place but the genuine service and environment would give it that feel.

All the staff members at the hotel were super friendly and sweet! Our barista made us fun cappucino every morning and the gardent area and happy hour served as a wonderful respite in the middle of all the tourist activities!
