This is *the* best hotel I've ever stayed in. The location was perfect, we loved being able to walk to all the sites. The breakfasts every morning were delicious. But, the best part of it all was the staff. We were treated like royalty from the moment we arrived, it truly was a five star experience. My only critique was no outlet by the nightstand to charge my phone.

This was an amazing place to stay and we would certainly go back when in Rome. The staff, particularly Oliver the manager, were exceptional. The breakfast, which is included in the price, was delicious. Beautiful building with incredible art, perfect location for walking to sites, shops and restaurants right around the corner. In particular, the dining rooms and bar are stunning, filled with history, art and italian character. I'd say this met my expectations, but only because I did a lot of research and was expecting a fantastic stay. One thing to note, is that all the rooms are different; when we booked on Expedia we spent the extra money for a Premium room, in which the pictures showed a fireplace, sitting area with sofa, armchairs, king bed, and separate bathtub and shower in the bathroom. (I also checked the hotel website description as well, which was the same). Upon arrival, we were taken to a very small room, not particularly pretty, but with an absolutely gorgeous new bathroom w walk-in closet. Given our expectations for the room based on price and photos, we were disappointed. Thankfully, the manager Oliver, after hearing about our concerns, brought us to a room (which resulted in an upgrade due to room availalbity) which was beautiful. If we had been kept in the first room we were given, we would have been very disappointed. So that's my only negative to an otherwise perfect stay.

Wonderful stay!
We had a wonderful experience from the moment we were greeted at the front door. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The room was wonderful. The beds and pillows were the most comfortable we have ever slept on in a hotel. Location was perfect. Right in the heart of everything and close to a lot of great restaurants (and some tourist traps). From the wonderful breakfast to evening drinks in the bar, we really enjoyed the Palazzo Roma!

This hotel exceeded our expectations! The location is absolutely perfect (right on Via Del Corso). We were greeted by very friendly staff who made us feel right at home.
