My stay was just fair

My stay was just fair. The services didn’t exceed expectations—staff members were doing their jobs but weren’t particularly attentive or going the extra mile. Given the high price, I expected a bit more in terms of hospitality and overall experience. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t great either—just an average stay but guess u have a better choice elsewhere in Rome

Our family has stayed with this hotel multiple times and it feels like there has been an ownership or management change. One of the worst stays. Elevator was out of service on arrival. Staff was uncaring and not helpful. Left us on our own to carry all our luggage up the stairs to our room. No help at all. In fact staff found it entertaining and funny ! Breakfast was horrible. We prepaid for it and when we let them know it was disappointing and poor quality, they wouldn’t let us cancel. We were forced to continue to pay for it even though we would not be eating. Staff at every level was not helpful at all. From assisting with transportation, to shopping and food, just terrible attitude. Sad to see this happening to The Major.

Really liked this hotel. Very attentive staff. Comfortable bed Coffee making facilities in room Good breakfast (although Expedia had only booked one of us and we had to pay €25 for the extra breakfasts (€75). This was a hefty amount we weren’t expecting. The front desk said this had happened quite often with Expedia. Able to leave luggage on last day.

This property was really great. Rooms were clean, modern, and spacious. The only reason why I didn’t give it 5 stars is because (1) walls are thin (2) elevator was incredibly slow. I would consider staying here again — the rooftop bar/restaurant was nice

Wow-Effekt beim Betreten des Zimmers. Klimaanlage, Kaffeemaschine, Zimmergröße: Wunderbar. Bequeme Betten. Leider waren ein paar Kleinigkeiten defekt: Bad-Türklinke, Regenduschenkopf lose. Nichts Dramatisches. Ich wollte meinen Mann mit einem Abendessen zum Geburtstag überraschen, leider war kein Tisch hergerichtet, das Personal wusste nicht mal Bescheid, dass wir kommen. Hätte ich bei den doch saftigen Preisen eigentlich schon erwartet und war entsprechend enttäuscht. Wir hatten dann u.a. das Aperitivo-Erlebnis mit einer Auswahl von 5 vom Küchenchef zubereiteten Meze und einem Getränk nach Wahl für zusammen 35€ pro Person und haben leider erst zu spät festgestellt, dass das Getränk eben nicht gratis war, sondern ganz regulär berechnet wurde. Das Geburtstagsessen würde ich dort nicht mehr „reservieren“, es gibt ums Hotel herum bessere Lokale, bei denen Preis-Leistung stimmt.

Able to walk from the hotel to attractions. Room was clean, modern and perfect for our stay. Rooftop bar was expensive so only had 1 drink but also very pretty. Would go back.

Upon arrival and check-in, the staff delivered our luggage to our rooms. Staff was very helpful. Hotel is modern. There was an elevator. Rooms seem secure and newly updated. Bathroom had Lanvin products. Bed was comfortable. View from room was the street. Wifi had no problems.

The location was great. We just 4 blocks from the train station and we walked every except the Vatican which was a short Uber ride. For a reasonable fee we were picked up from the airport by a private driver that the hotel arranged for us. The rooftop restaurant/ bar was fun as well with amazing views. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Great location and really lovely room. Spacious, stylish and comfortable. I also really appreciated the room being available early. The staff were great and we felt looked after. The hotel has a stunning roof top terrace which we loved. Will book again.
