Located 400 meters from the beach of Roquetas de Mar (Costa de Almería), in the main commercial and leisure area of the city. The Gran Plaza Shopping Center is 200 meters away, the auditorium theater 50 meters away, the water park 700 meters away, ...
It is accessed by the Mediterranean Highway (5 minutes from the exit of Roquetas). It is located 14 kilometers from the city of Almeria and half an hour from the Natural Park of Cabo de Gata.

This is an excellent apartment with excellent hosts which serves a short stay superbly

The apartment is excellent with the beach a 7 minute walk away and the all Spanish Tapas restaurants a 5 minutes stroll . These restaurants get very busy with the posh one needing reservations most of the time (or a wait for a table). Note avoid the Marina for food its appalling and seems to cater for the brit abroad brigade (I'm a Brit and cant stand this mentality) There is the Gran Plaza opposite which caters for all supermarket needs ect ect . The apartment itself is large with two great bedrooms and two toilets , clean and well stocked with pots ,pans,towels ect . if there is one negative (this prevented all 5 stars) its the view from the balcony , it does look straight onto the main road ,whilst noise is there we did not find it intrusive. Transport (if no car like us) is by Bus , bus stop opposite gran plaza , this goes to Almeria ,then you can pick up buses to other destinations from there. Its very cheap ,air con comfy buses The private swimming pool included in this apartment is far greater than the pictures show ! its large very clean and salt water not chlorine based. A thank you to the host Dolores and her Husband who meet us within 5 mins of arrival , escorted us to the apartment then left us to it , just the kind of hosts you want . All in all myself and two daughters (14 and 16) had a superb 5 night stay

Schöne große Wohnung in Roquetas de Mar

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit in Roquetas. Die Wohnung war schön groß und hell, Eine Klimaanlage sowie eine Heizung waren vorhanden und fuktionieten gut. Die wohnung war mir allem wie bei FeWo direkt beschrieben ausgestattet. Leider hatten wir in unmittelbarer nähe 2 Gaststätten die bis nachts (2 Uhr ) geöffnet hatten. Zudem wurde wärend unseres aufenthaltes die Wasserleitung erneuert. Die Arbeiten fanden aber hauptsächlich nachts statt und wir hatten nur wenig Einschränkungen. Auch wurden wir von Dolores Santander über die Arbeiten informiert und so konnten wir Vorkehrungen treffen. Zur Wohnung gehörte auch eine Tiefgarage die mit einem Aufzug erreichbar war, so konnten wir unseren Leihwagen sicher parken.

Property was more than adequate in size, good location to old town, bus route, beach, supermarket.

The apartment was well equipped with everything you need for a long stay. Delores and Domingo (owners) were most friendly. The location was close to the town and beach. Bars and restaurants were easy within walking distance along with supermarkets. We only experienced one problem with the property and that was the electrics. When cooking, even with switching all other electrical appliances off the power continually tripped. This was not only frustrating and inconvenient but worrying from a health & safety perspective. The trip switch turning off was not specific to the kitchen but was the main trip switch. We reported this to the owners and they called in an electrician who suggested a replacement hob which was immediately purchased and installed, however this did not remedy the problem. My wife and me are retired and travel a great deal and are accustomed with living in long stay apartments. We are not ones for complaining but we felt this problem was serious. Delores mentioned that an electrician would have to return to check the electrics. We only hope this happens for the benefit of future occupants. If you prefer a busy location Roquetas does not offer this over the Christmas and New Year period. There is a large market every Thursday on the avenue that runs parallel to the street where the apartment is situated.

Bien situado. Limpio y con todo lo necesario para estar como en casa

Tanto Dolores como su marido muy cordiales. La climatización es central por lo que no hace ningún ruido y la distribución de la temperatura es perfecta. En la cocina se dispone de todo. Evitando tener que comprar esos detalles que al final no consumes ni la mitad ( sal, especies, jabón. Papel de cocina,....) La vivienda es muy recomendable para pasar unos días de vacaciones.

What a great week, we have just had. Delores and Domingo met us in the apartment and gave us essential information and then I contacted Delores by WhatsApp with any queries. The apartment is spacious and had everything we needed. The air conditioning was effective and quiet and the furniture comfortable. The setting is residential so felt safe and secure. The balcony overlooks a nearby road and when we stayed there, the circus was setting up opposite. There is a clean pool available that we used a couple of times. The beach is five minutes walk away and there is a lovely promenade that stretches for miles. We walked to the other side of the town along the beach, stopping for food and drinks on the way, and after a couple of miles came across hotels and more touristy bars. There are lovely restaurants near the apartment near the theatre and also a Lidl for the essentials. For any Brits who don’t speak Spanish - take a translation app as all signs, menus and people you meet probably won’t speak English. Although daunting at first, everyone is very patient and it added to the adventure of ordering meals. We soon got into the Spanish way of siestas, tapas, late swims and even later evening meals. If you want night clubs, British pubs and souvenir shops, don’t go here.. if you want a relaxed quiet holiday with a nice apartment, beach, food, drink and a real Spanish experience then this is it.

IMPRESIONANTE ESTANCIA

Llegar al apartamento de Dolores tiene que ser lo mas parecido a llegar al paraíso. No lo digo por alagar, paso a contar los detalles. Llegamos a Roquetas tras un caluroso viaje y pasar unas horas visitando Jaén y nos encontramos en el apartamento con Dolores y Domingo que muy amablemente nos enseñan el apartamento y en 30 minutos nos dan una magistral "clase" de todo lo que podemos hacer y los sitios que podemos visitar en nuestra estancia. Una vez solos, empezamos a colocar las cosas en el apartamento y vemos que la realidad, supera todas nuestras expectativas. Apartamento amplio, con bastante espacio para guardar tanto la ropa como el resto de las cosas, aire acondicionado en toda la casa, una espléndida cocina (gracias Dolores por el aceite y esos deliciosos higos) un lujo de terraza para los desayunos y una piscina comunitaria para el disfrute de pequeños y mayores. La localización del apartamento, fenomenal; panadería a 3 minutos, parafarmacia a 3min, zona de bares y tapeo junto al apartamento (unos 10 locales a 20' de paseo desde el primero al último), un centro comercial a 10' con tiendas y supermercado y la Playa de la Serena tb a unos 7 minutos. Muy cerca tb el acuario de Roquetas. Dando un paseo de unos 30 minutos, se puede llegar hasta el mismo centro del pueblo.TODO ESTO SIN TENER QUE SACAR EL COCHE DE LA PLAZA DE GARAJE . Muy cerca del apartamento, pero siendo necesario el coche; las playas y el ambiente de AGUADULCE y de las URBNIZACIONES. Sin salir de estas zonas, podemos encontrar playas con más o menos piedrecitas; pero TODAS MUY LIMPIAS y NADA MASIFICADAS (segunda quincena de Agosto). Digno de ver, las noches en la playa...barbacoa tras barbacoa.... El apartamento tb está bien situado para visitar las mejores playas del Cabo de Gata, mas o menos 60' a San José; lugar desde el que se accede a Los Gerónimos o Mónsul por ejemplo. Idóneo para ver y entender el "Mar de Plástico" y para realizar excursiones a Almería o Granada. TODO ESTO DESDE UN IMPRESIONANTE APARTAMETO. GRACIAS DOLORES, NO DUDES QUE VOLVEREMOS A VISITARTE Y QUE A CUALQUIERA QUE NOS PREGUNTE DONDE PASAR UNOS DÍAS, TU CASA SERÁ LA PRIMERA OPCIÓN.

Great apartment in a great location

The apartment was an excellent place to stay, it had everything required for the few days we stayed there. Furnished to a high standard with access to underground parking and heating or air conditioning if required. The location of the apartment was ideally situated close to a major shopping centre , and even an outdoor market right outside on Thursday's. We would highly recommend and Delores, the owner, was very helpful.

El apartamento estaba en buenas condiciones, muy amplio y soleado, equipado con todo lo necesario, cerca de un centro comercial y un supermercado, a 50 m un asador de pollos con menu del dia para llevar que utilizamos todos los dias para no tener que cocinar. La playa esta a 5 minutos caminando pero es de arena muy gruesa y hacia bastante oleaje en la orilla, con muchas algas. Los propietarios muy amables, nos dieron algunas indicaciones de sitios que visitar. En definitiva, un alojamiento muy recomendable
