“Marty and Juanita are the sweetest hosts. The Cottage is absolutely spotless and has everything you need to cook, clean, do laundry, and feel like you’re coming home. If there’s something you need that you don’t find, a quick text and Juanita will be right over as they live next door on the property. Don’t let that deter you, because the cottage still has a very private feeling. Going in May was a great choice since there’s tulips and other spring blooms, though I heard a bit later in the summer……

“This little cottage was perfect!! Everything was very clean and well-appointed. We loved the layout of the home and the beautiful view from the main room and the deck. The little area in back was just perfect to relieve my dog if we weren't headed out somewhere. The people, coffee, and bakery at The Commons were fantastic. The hot tub is one of the best features of this home, and the views of Buck Bay and Puget Sound are absolutely breathtaking. We hiked through Mt. “Location is only a couple of blocks from Commercial St. and all the shops and restaurants. Stayed over the weekend so got to experience the great farmer's market that is only a block away. Cottage was comfortable and we enjoyed the outdoor space as well.”

“The cottage was the perfect place for a wonderful get away on San Juan Island. Mary is a very creative artist and has decorated the cottage beautifully and provided absolutely everything we needed for our stay. The gardens are filled with fantastic flowers and the patio and view are a great place to enjoy meals. We hope to return soon!”

I frequently am disappointed by the “hand me down” quality of a lot of vacation rental places. This is not one of them! All the furnishings were of great quality and in pristine condition. “We loved this quaint cabin. It was perfect for our family. The cabin is super secluded and very very peaceful. The beach was such a short, nice walk away and the area seemed very safe. The area was very quite, but the few local residents that we ran into were extremely kind and friendly.”
