“We had a wonderful stay at the Abbey Hotel in Roscommon. The rooms were comfortable, the atmosphere was lovely, and the staff were welcoming and attentive. Everything about our visit was great — the only drawback was breakfast, as the sausage and eggs were a bit overcooked. Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed our time and would happily return.”

“Richard and his family were amazing! We were coming from the states for our honeymoon, and he had left chilled prosecco with glasses in our room. He immediately greeted us with a warm smile and hot coffee when we first arrived, and our dinner that night was superb! The family was getting the hotel ready for Halloween, and the bar and eating area looked fantastic. Our room was clean, and with two containers of fresh Irish milk in our fridge for coffee! “We stayed here to weather the storm with the power being out at home. Could not be more impressed with the accommodation here. We expected from the two star rating that it would be basic but all the fixtures and fittings were of a good quality and generally it was a pleasure to stay here. “Had to make very quick arrangements for a family funeral. Elsa and Peter communicated extremely fast and catered to our needs, for which we were eternally grateful. The property itself is gorgeous and very well kept with all of the amenities we needed. The kitchen is superbly laid out and easy to use. The bedrooms are plenty big enough and very comfortable. Thank you so much from all of my family for making our stay so easy.”
