The motel itself was very nice, and well kept for the price range of the motel. However, our experience with the front desk was not a good one. The gentleman who checked us in was incredibly slow, and absolutely no personality. One of our key cards stopped working, so we sent our daughter down to get it replaced. They rudely took it away from her and stranded her and her baby out of the room until I could get down there. Once my husband and I got down there the lady was very rude, and just kept preaching policy. We rented two rooms, one under my name and one under my husbands. We have our card on file for any incidentals. It shouldn’t matter who we have staying in each room. I can understand not handling over a card to just anyone, but a simple phone call to myself would have solved the whole problem. We travel quite a bit, and have never ran into such a dramatic situation over a silly key card not working. This motel could definitely use a little customer service training.
