“Lovely property, very clean with fantastic views over Oyster Bay from most of the rooms. Walking distance to town. Open fire was cosy (we visited in June) backed up up by the split system that provided enough warmth. Entry is a bit difficult to find as google sends you around the corner & as others have noted not a property for those with major mobility issues due to steps/steep driveway.”

“What an absolute privilege to stay in this beautiful home. From the moment you arrive and are warmly greeted by the host and walk into the most expansive view, you know that you are in for a wonderful experience. The house is stunning. “We loved our stay... the cottage and grounds are absolutely adorable, and the couple who own the property are extremely warm and welcoming to their guests. A fresh loaf of sourdough bread, farm fresh eggs, and more were awaiting us in our romantic, imbeccably furnished cottage. It felt like we were staying in someone's private home rather than a vacation rental. The cottage we were in....the Hollyhock... has two bedrooms, a spacious bathroom (with show and a jacuzzi), a comfortable living room……

"Great location, very near to the restaurants, balcony overlooking the beach. Most importantly the manager was the most caring and helpful hotel manager we have encountered in our many years of traveling. Because our own mistake, our itinerary was off by one day, which affected our hotel arrangements. She was very understanding and graciously offered accommodation, and even helped to contact the next hotel in our itinerary for new arrangement. Before getting off duty, she came to our room to ensure we were fine with everything. "
