“Everything about the house is fantastic with great views across Lake Como. The hosts, Danielle and Marco were flgreat and greeted us upon arrival. We were very spoilt with a bottle of bubbly and delicious snacks. The house was a little further out of Varenna than we thought, but we love to walk and we think we left fitter than when we arrived. We would definitely recommend staying at El Lavandee.”

“We had a lovely time. Torno is an idyllic little village with great food. The villa has stunning views of the lake and provides all necessary comforts. You can walk up into the hills from the villa and reach Como and around the lake easily by boat or bus.”

“Excellent position at the top of the town. Cozy apartment and even though the heat wasn't allowed to be on yet for the season, it was certainly bearable on chilly October days/nights. Some people might dislike the church bells ringing in such close proximity but that never bothered us during our stay. The balcony overlooking the church and its piazza was nice and the view of the lake from the kitchen windows was fabulous. The kitchen has a small fridge with a little freezer, 2 gas burners, a……

“The view is amazing. The apartment was spacious and had parking right out front. If you have time, take advantage of the main hotel lakeside area and indoor pool/spas. Check in is at the main hotel. Use that address for GPS. It would be nice if they provided and couple of bottles of water and coffee to make in the room. ”

“Great apartment in a great location. There is a mini mart, bar and Gelato place next door. This is all very convenient and added to the over all enjoyment of our stay. A small beach is just a few steps away, we swam, had lunch and enjoyed this very much. What would make this place much better is more comfortable mattresses and more luxurious pillows. A few hundred dollars and a trip to IKEA for some new premium mattresses and pillows would go a long way to making visitors enjoy this……
