“A one bedroom accommodation that’s fine for the 4 nights we were there but a bit small for any longer. The weather was absolutely gorgeous so were out and about evert day, probably get a bit stir crazy in bad weather. Alexander, who manages the accommodations, is very helpful and friendly. ”

“The apartment is clean and in a great location, close to restaurants, pubs, waterfront, shops, etc. The bed was fairly comfy and it had everything we needed. The only thing that would have made it better is a blow dryer and the shower temp being easier to adjust. We would recommend staying here.”

“The island and cottage were exactly what we needed. There was peace and quiet, which allowed us to slow down and breathe. The local residents we met were friendly and welcoming. The island needs a little investment but we really hope mass tourism doesn't ruin its tranquility.”

“Very spacious accommodations, near to anything you could want, within a block of the High street. Owner was very responsive and helpful when we contacted him! Ver much appreciated this!!”

“Great apartment right in the centre of Kirkwall town. Literally in the alley few seconds to a bar serving food. Then the harbour front is seconds away Make sure you go into the Albert street car park stay left and turn into, usually a space outside the apartment can park for free. Go up couple steps and will see Ivy house ”

“I really don’t know what else to say. The chalet is in a fantastic location, and had all the facilities we needed for our week on Orkney. We would happily visit again.”

“We had a wonderful stay at The Ayre Hotel, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was excellent with a comprehensive menu, something to suit all tastes. Breakfast was free and there was a really good choice of cereals, pastries and all the usual Bacon Eggs etc. The building was nice and room very comfortable. We were overlooking the harbour and it was nice to see all the ferries coming and going. I would highly recommend a stay here, we will be back :D ”

“Enjoyed my stay. It was fireworks night and I could see the harbour display from my room window. The room was clean and the bed was a decent size for a single. The food was really good too.”
