“I booked quite last minute, maybe a week or so prior to our stay. We stayed in the Crew room and it was a pleasant surprise as I really didn't know what to expect! A large and comfortable room with two sets of double bunk beds. The shower room was pretty nice, there were two showers (I expect ideal if a family were staying there). Zoe was really friendly and helpful when we checked in, and the man we spoke to on check out was equally so. Overall a great stay, and check out of 11:30 was great so……

“We decided to try something new instead of hotel so booked the yacht. Great experience. Marina and boat were lovely. Lots of restaurants and easy to walk around and explore. “It did not satisfy us at all. We left after 4 hours and did not stay the night as we didn’t feel comfortable to. it was a very tiny place compared to the pictures. The toilet seat was yellow, and there was no evidence of the place being cleaned. It was very dusty and the oven had a dirty pan in there. It looked like food had been cooked on it and not washed. There was no cutlery or anything the microwave seemed broken. The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows very light. The cover felt like……

“The host never responded to any communications. I tried calling, SMS, email and hotel.com chat. The agent also tried to contact them unsuccessfully. I had to wait until 4pm on the day of arrival before the agent agreed to re-book. After that I then had to wait for hotels.com to respond. Gave up and asked for a refund. These people will leave you oit of pocket, on the street, in the dark. Dangerous and unethical practice especially for lone female travellers.”
