“The cabin is very nice and clean. The owner is very nice and very easy to communicate. The lake frontage is nice and peaceful. No boat traffics. The kids enjoyed the kayaks and the float pad. Fishing was god for pan fish. Did see or catch anything but perch and blue gill. The walk from the cabin to the lake is well defined, however, if you have issues walking semi rough trails or downhill or uphill, the walk to and from the lake can be an issue. “Kim is not only a wonderful host but a wonderful and caring person. She made our stay wonderful and checked up on us when we had car trouble on our way out. She was proactive and thoughtful. The cabin is lovely, comfortable l, and well-appointed. We loved spending time on the dock and enjoying the porch swing. The deep water location are perfectly for swimming and paddle boarding. “Lots of wonderful memories were made by all in our group at this lovely cabin on Lake Hartwell. The owners put a lot of thought into anticipating what families would need during their stay. The kitchen had everything we needed, there were plenty of towels and linens, and a washer and dryer on each level. We particularly enjoyed the first level screened in porch. “The cabin was very dirty. From the pictures we got the impression that it was very close to the lake with shoreline access. That was not the case. Upstairs shower leaks into the lower bathroom. One of the chairs in the living area has a broken leg. I almost hurt myself falling off of it. It was warm and fairly comfortable though. ”
