“Booked a cabin with kitchenette and bathroom. It was as shown on the website and described by others - very small but fine for an overnight stay and reflected in the price paid.
The location is excellent, easy to walk around the town from there. The cabin was at the back of the property so no road noise overnight.
We booked a hot tub but that was a very disappointing experience - the water was warm not hot and describing them as part of a day spa oversells what you get in reality - outdoor, some……
“Very nice little apartment for a couple of nights in Ohakune. The room and amenities were super clean and the staff were really friendly. Our only drawback was that the bed was a bit soft for our liking, but you can't please everyone all the time.”

“We were living in the room close to the main road. It could be quite haunting during the night and I was almost sleepless during the first night. And I have to leave all the lights on to make it looks like people are awake. I tried to use the hot bath but the room is locked all the time. Hotels.com is definitely responsible to manifest a 10 out 10 rating in this hotel, it’s simply not that good! Strongly won’t suggest ladies and kids to stay alone. ”

Close to Forgotten World adventures to access excursions. No aircon so we kept the bathroom windows propped well open for some fresh air.
