“Auch wenn es bei der mageren Ausstattung des Einzelzimmers etwas zu kritisieren gibt (nur 1 Wandhaken, keine besondere Ablagemöglichkeit für die Wäsche, man muss sozusagen aus dem Koffer leben), doch es bleibt angesichts der nachhaltigen nostalgischen Ausstattung des Hotels ein positiver Gesamteindruck. Das Frühstück hätte mehr bieten können. Wer mit dem Auto anreist, muss das Parkhaus Tiefgarage Schloßstraße, Einfahrt Synagogenplatz, Viktoriastraße 28 anfahren und bei der Einfahrt die linke……

“The rooms in The Mercure Hotel are large and comfortable with a good bathroom, everything is very clean. If you stay at the Mercure Hotel, you Can easily walk to the town centre and the Main station, if you walk along the Huyssen Aller (runs parallel to Bismarckstraße). If you don’t want to walk very far for a metal, just cross the Folkswang Bridge (pedestrian) and turn right. There you Will find small local restaurants. Ofcourse you are very near to the Folkswang Museum, and that is a must!!……

“Zimmer, parken, top. Mehrere Restaurants und Bäcker um die Ecke. Frühstück kostet leider 16€, für mich als Geschäftsreisende zu teuer, dann lieber das Zimmer 10€ teurer oder als Businesspauschale ausweisen. ”

“CP 值很高. 距離 Essen 車站約走路5分鐘, 但又不會太吵雜. 雖然在鐵軌附近, 隔音也算不錯. 我住在7樓, 房間的 mini bar 不用錢, 每天都有補冰箱飲料. 飯店裝潢也算新, 房間清潔也乾淨, 下次會想再來住.”

“My wife and I stayed in Haus am Stadttor for two nights in August 2025. We absolutely loved the place. It is perfectly located and very comfortable, with everything you could possibly need for a short or long-term stay. We slept like babies in the comfortable bed and enjoyed the quiet, though the house is located a very short walk to the altstadt. Mathias was also very friendly, welcoming, kind, helpful and flexible. He let us check in early and allowed us a late check-out. All-in-all, a great……
