The cabin was good; didn't like that the master bedroom was upstairs; didn't see that in the pictures. Being 70, and a high altitudes, was challenging at times. The downstairs twin bedroom had a film of dust all under the beds; kitchen was nice; deck was nice; the water in the bathrooms had a bad smell (like sewar) when you turn the water on in the sink. Loved having the washer/dryer , huge plusWould have been helpful to have clothes hangers in the closets. We enjoyed our stay, the climate, and the owner(s) Michele was super responsive and helpful.

Beautiful getaway

Beautiful property in a quiet and tranquil neighborhood. Enjoyed the beautiful views, saw some beautiful elk/deer. Cozy, clean and very comfortable home. The wraparound deck is a definite plus. We loved our stay here and will definitely be coming back.

Great Vacay

We had a wonderful vacation and loved this cabin. It has a wonderful view - we saw elk right by the cabin and also a doe that had just delivered twins just a few yards away from the deck! The best part though is the location. Only a few blocks off of Mechem, it is very conveniently located!

Wonderful Cabin!

Such an absolutely comfortable, cozy cabin! We love the wraparound porch, and the beautiful view! Great location it’s just minutes away from everything in town! The host was so kind and even let us check out late since our daughter got sick. We will definitely be back!

Cute Convenient Cabin

The cabin is a short distance from hiking, the grocery store, and all the other fun things to do/see in Ruidoso. We loved the town. The cooler temperatures in summer and beautiful views made it a really fun trip. The cabin’s patio is perfect for sitting on to drink morning coffee, eat meals and gaze at stars. It did get warmer upstairs than down but there are two huge fans (as well as ceiling fans) if that would bother you. My elementary aged kids were right at home in the cabin. We would come back and stay again!

Excellent Location Great Cabin

I was worried it would be a little too small but no! We have everything we needed and all the space too. The location was perfect! Close to all the best restaurants and the ski slopes. I’m looking forward to coming back in the spring or fall.

Wonderful Getaway!

We stayed at Cabin 2 Sierra Blanca. The house was just perfect for our group of 4. Everything was clean and well stocked! The location is close to town and just a short distance to the grocery store and restaurants, as well as beautiful and scenic destinations. Highly recommend this property if you are looking for a wonderful getaway with all the amenities. The listing did have a DVD player listed but the house did not have one. We were able to watch movies with our streaming apps instead. So not really a problem.

Heavenly Getaway

We had a wonderful week. First thing we did was fill the hummingbird feeder and our entertainment began. Your deck was the place to be…watching the hummingbirds, the mountains and watching and listening to the amazing rain. You cozy cabin was perfect. We enjoyed every minute we were there. We’ll be back!

Amazing View and so Much More

We loved…the view from deck, sunrises, elk on property near the back deck, surrounded by trees, large windows facing view, hosts (the best!!), huge kitchen island, beautiful hardwood floors, most comfortable bed ever encountered in a VRBO (downstairs queen bed), property felt remote but is close to restaurants and shops.
