The house has its quirks and it’s definitely a big old summer camp that could use a little maintenance, but it turned out really cute and exactly what we needed. ”

“Very casual about check in they live next to the main Office and have kids so may be next door. Just key the radio on counter. We got there early and were given a good fishing place to try out before we came back. The last day we got directions to a local lake that is a short walk down a logging road. Like having a whole valley with a lake in the middle to yourself. We didn’t see a soul the whole time and it’s a good size lake. The description about out being off grid is dead on, 12 bolt lights……

We enjoyed visiting the nearby rock and gem museum, hiking and visiting the restaurants in Bridgton.The kitchen was well stocked and easy to work in, there was ample living space for our entire group to spread out, and the lawn was fantastic for games and activities.My favorite part was the pond which was fabulous for swimming, paddle boarding, canoeing and fishing. The pool, hottub and attic game room were all a big hit, as well as the firepit (no firewood on location so had to pick some up).
