“Misty Cottage lived up to expectations, a beautiful place with all amenities and in a fantastic spot a stones throw from the coastal path into Whitby centre. The layout suited our family party perfectly, the kitchen & dining space were especially good together”

“We stayed for two nights with our two children to explore Whitby. The cottage is fantastic! Really nicely furnished and well equipped and lovely to look out over the harbour and across to the abbey. The location is brilliant, right by the harbourside but still feels nice and peaceful in the cottage.”

“Just arrived home after a 3 night stay at Larpool Mill; the most breathtaking accommodation we’ve ever booked. Our faces when we arrived said it all! This truly is a home-from-home equipped with everything you need inside and out, with very cute welcome goodies, ample space for a large family and tranquil outdoor setting for evening gatherings. The decor (as a cottage girl geek) was out of this world. Credit to the owners of this hidden gem. We will absolutely be returning. 10/10. ”

“Lovely place - kids loved having 4 floors to explore! Recommended. Just make sure you are aware of the loading and parking that is required. Some people seemed to be occupying the parking spaces far longer than 30 mins which made loading the car at the end of the trip a bit more of a trek. Only thing I couldn't find in the house was a cafetiere.”

“We had a wonderful holiday as a family of three in the holiday home.It was beautifully furnished and well equipped, the bed was very comfortable, and the immediate surroundings were lovely—with a farm, many hiking trails, and charming towns nearby.The neighbors were very friendly and gave us great tips for day trips.We went on many excursions to the coast and to the surrounding towns.The house is quite remote when it comes to supermarkets, and some of the roads are very steep, which takes a bit……
