“This house was the perfect place for myself and my family. We all fit comfortably within the rooms and had plenty of space in the common areas to all gather and hang out. The house was well taken care of and had everything available that we needed to carry out day to day functions like cooking and self-care. Would recommend to a friend, and would personally visit again! ”

“Our family stumbled across this gem while looking for places to stay for a weekend near Williamsburg. The place was a dream to stay in, the hosts were wonderful and thought of so many details to make guests stay better (fresh eggs, Wi-Fi QR code, lighter and starter logs for the fire pit, all the cooking utensils, the list goes on), and the whole time we were in colonial Williamsburg our 6 yo wanted to go back to the little red barn. Our only regret is we didn’t stay longer to properly enjoy the……

“Great stay - appreciated that it was well stocked with towels, linens, kitchen items. We especially loved the pool. You will hear the dogs barking at the pet resort next door, but overall it didn't bother us and we liked watching the dogs arrive in the mornings. Would stay again!”

“Wonderful old house that has been renovated to perfectly fit our group of 9 (would have comfortably accommodated several more). This house was a short drive to everything, but far enough away to not have to deal with constant tourist traffic. ”

“The host who owns the property was excellent, responsive, and easy to work with. The check-in process was a bit cumbersome as the resort is managed by Hilton and the reservation didn't come up right away because I made the plans through VRBO. When check-in was complete, they sent me over to a salesperson to try and get me to sign on for a promotional extra night and listen to their sales pitch. I don't hold the VRBO host responsible for this, though. :)The space was really nice. We only……

“ This property is managed by a company and although everything was as described it did not initially feel as welcoming and homelike as other homes I have rented. There were two signs in the home warning us of ramifications if we exceeded our registered number of guests. While I understand the importance of this information - it just felt generic and threatening for a "home" stay. There were snacks available and a Keurig coffee maker with lots of options for pods, sweeteners and……

“This is a great place - especially for fishermen. Quiet neighborhood, plenty of parking, and 11 minutes from the Osborne Landing ramp. The house has been updated throughout on the inside - modern, well-equipped kitchen; comfortable beds/mattresses and furnishings. Plenty of shopping and dining minutes away. ”

“The place was spacious with lots of room to be with group or alone. Love the outdoor space and lots of coffee pods. It would benefit from some updates, sofa was not supportive, lots of lights not working, not enough dishes or silverware - need to replenish stock, along with a skillet or frying pan. Thank you!”
