“Lovely older hotel. Bedroom was well appointed and had a fireplace. It was walking distance to restaurants and the historic area. Staff very good. Breakfast room was a bit dark and dreary as it was in the basement.”

“It snowed the weekend we were there, but still enjoyed going down to the barn to spend time with the horses. They are amazing. Disappointed by the breakfast/meals that were included. We couldn't go far because of the snow, so we were limited and the meals were disappointing. Thank God they had snacks !!! The cook/ kitchen manager appeared to not want to be there and it was evident in the food she served and her general attitude (unwelcoming).”

“Check in would be easier with a keypad, but it was nice to meet the owner and her daughter. It is an older home, but some updates have been made. The house was very nostalgic for us. I would recommend having some more blankets for beds and throw blankets for the living room and den. ”

“The house was perfect for our stay. Everything we needed was there and the house has great views of the lake. The back deck is huge and is an awesome spot for everyone to hang out and relax. We are already making plans to visit Lake Oconee and stay with Karen again. ”
